The World's Greatest Superheroes Part 5: Superman Subpoenaed!

The World's Greatest Superheroes becomes even more Superman-centric as the city of Metropolis celebrates Superman Day with a big ol' parade! And also in the offing is the return of one of Superman's earliest (and, oddly, most-dangerous) enemies, Oswald Loomis, better known as the pernicious pest of perfidy -- the Prankster! 

The freshly-paroled Prankster is all set to retire from crime, but a series of misunderstandings leads Loomis right back to his old tricks -- and do I mean tricks! 

Superman isn't convinced that the Prankster can change, but the bigger question is -- can Superman? That's what a neglected Lois is asking herself as she finds an exciting new relationship with handsome TV superstar Burt Rapp.

If the Burt Reynolds-ish Rapp wasn't enough, the intensely 1970s settings of the World's Greatest Superheroes reaches dizzying new heights as Superman, in pursuit of the Prankster's peppy ex-fiancee Priscilla Pertwillie, ends up backstage on a slightly bodlerized The Gong Show (complete with a pretty accurate likeness of the show's host and creator Chuck Barris).
